Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently halfway through the four-year contract he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the initial important achievement of his illustrious career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he previously was, and would certainly contemplate lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy wait, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
